I almost killed my own YouTube channel. Not with a bad video… but with the wrong format.

I built an audience around short, research-driven explainers. Then I dropped a podcast: long conversations, new topics, different vibe. The algorithm got confused. Engagement tanked. It felt like everything I’d built was slipping away.

But here’s the thing: even if the podcast “failed,” it gave me priceless skills. I practiced my English, became sharper in interviews, and connected with amazing people in AI who later supported my work.

After a year, though, I was burned out. Each episode felt repetitive. I realized: if something no longer excites you, it’s okay to quit. Pivoting isn’t failure—it’s making room for what truly matters.

Now, I’m doubling down on what I love: growing Towards AI and creating content that actually fits my audience—like my daily No-BS AI roundups and educational YouTube content.

Sometimes quitting is what lets you win.
