Nonojuju’s round 5 got striked, figured there was a good chance of something like that happening with this match given all the 9/11 we’ve been using lol. In reference to the description of round 4, you could say nonojuju got “superkoffee’d”. Round 5 is available on google drive instead, and I put a funny little reference to that fact at the very beginning of this round
Upon the release of round 5 I started noticing parallels between this match and “greenXYZ vs B33K33P3R” and I thought I’d hone in on that comparison by taking significant inspiration from the latter player here much like I did in round 2 while still trying to be myself and pull influences from elsewhere, we’re essentially back in the crusty sewer this match began in. Almost feels nesfanboi-esque at a lot of points too
I’ve been full “rainbow kitty fuck vomit” mode these past few days, I’ve been hyperfixating over sparklecare hospital, been watching Paper Rad, been listening to Garden Angel, kinda in a similar ethos to the aesthetic ideas I had for this round before my mind was even in this place, what better time to finish a round like this than now, right?
Pacing is definitely a lil stranger than I had expected it to be and looking at the final product I think this turned out more adaptive to nonojuju’s style than I had initially thought
Plan on using some parts of this round in a serve for a 3-way with cashlost and b33, a match the three of us have been wanting to do for years. I think that’s the next match I wanna start up after this, especially with the whole technicolour radiation mood I’ve been in
Overall this match has been a very interesting one and I think me and juju played a very good game. Pretty sure this is the first 1v1 I’ve completed in like a while too, which feels quite good, to get a game off my plate for once
