This week we had Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, massive GTA VI details & extended gameplay, and PlayStation doubling down on PS5 exclusivity? Like full exclusivity! Only on PS5 branding in full force. And yet, we still have weird situations like Sony emailing people their Terms of Service, remind them they dont own their digital games. And they also broke the PS3 PlayStation Store! As if it wasnt hard enough to transact on the story, now the search bar doesnt work. Elsewhere in the week we have news for Marvels Wolverine, Marvel TOKON, Marathon Season 3, Helldivers 2, Persona 6, Terranigma is coming back, the Xbox Disc to Digital program, and so much more. This week we had a lot of drama going on surrounding the profitability of Xbox Game Pass after a few developers shared the opinion that they prefer Sonys PS Plus model. So we get into all of that nonsense but also we saw a European Lobbyist group (that Sony is a part of) is openly opposing the Stop Killing Games initiative. Which shouldnt be all too surprising.. This week the PlayStation Store couldnt handle the launch of Hollow Knight Silksong (and pretty much all the other stores too) but it seems like thats fixed! So for now we have a new PlayStation 5 model around the corner and Sony is cutting some corners to save costs. And by save I mean, not increase the price more? We also have a big rumor about the September State of Play. Looks like Marvels Wolverine is almost ready! Elsewhere throughout the week we have Capcoms President blaming PS5s high price, the Marvel Tokon Beta, Hot Shots Reviews, Lost Soul Aside Reviews, the 007 First Light State of Play, and many more! Now what we dont have (or me rather) is the new 2025 mega bundle yugioh set. I ordered it, and its not arriving on time. LAME.
