These days, the tools and materials available to makers and DIYers are expanding faster than ever — from engineering-grade 3D printing filaments and composites to affordable CNCs, laser cutters, and more. With the rise of hybrid and combination machines like the Bambu Lab H2D and the SnapMaker Artisan, bringing multi-process fabrication into your personal or home workshop is no longer a dream — it's reality.
But what can you actually build with this new wave of consumer-grade, multi-function machines?
In this video, I take on one of my most unique and experimental 3d printing projects yet: a fully custom set of bluetooth 3D printed speakers. Built using the open-source, 3D printing–native Multiboard ecosystem, this project pushes the boundaries of what's possible with 3D printing, CNC routing, laser engraving, and beyond — all from a small-scale workshop setup.
Along the way, I’ll explore new mediums and fabrication methods, share the challenges I ran into, and show you how these tools can empower your own creative projects.
