Are human beings the sex organs of the machine world as McLuhan put it (quoting Bergson I think), or is hyperreality even stranger than this provocative proposal?
Or is the book of Enoch is more insightful and human beings are the tools of the demons, being leveraged through their passions and through technological revolutions, to resurrect themselves once more?
I don't know, but either option seems to make more sense than the reductive scientific materialism that's nihilistically been ladled down our throats over the last century or so.
Strange days indeed.
