The form of this world bemuses me. A sprawling metropolis underground? What feats of engineering mush have been conjured to accomplish such a thing! But what of the residents? Are this avian creatures the original inhabitants of this place, or mere interlopers? I have so many questions, but the urgency of my quest denies me the luxury of indulging my curiosity. I can't help but wonder though, will future generation look upon my time with the same level of unknowing curiosity? I suppose all ages fade in similar fashion. It's a little sad, but at the same time beautiful.
