The Racoon hermit tells me of a battle against one of these giants. Perhaps they are not guardians after all? To be fair, I'm not completely certain I can trust the motives of strangers like this hermit, though I'm inclined to side with those not trying to kill me. My Journey continues as I follow this being towards my goals, I still feel as though it's the right thing to do, yet I have no true proof. Worryingly, my cough that reacts to the evil being seems to be getting worse, and not just for me. If my sickness is connected to this evil one, perhaps completing me mission will lead to a cure? I sure hope so.
