HyEnD is developing a new fuel for its second DLR STERN particicipation. First tests were conducted on 2nd and 8th September 2020, at the test site of the DLR Institute of Space Propulsion in Lampoldshausen. The HyFIVE Rocket Engine provides about 500N of thrust in its current design stage. In a later version, the engine will be used in our demonstrator rocket, which is set to launch next year.
