It's July now, and I still have lettuce growing in the hydroponic boxes. The 2 boxes are situated under a small tree to provide some shade and block any heavy rains. Having lettuce this late in the season is a good deal. I'm winding down the dutch bucket tomatoes. Despite the early problems with blight, the plants recovered and produced quite well. A friend of mine wanted a bunch of green tomatoes, so I went ahead and picked most of the tomatoes and shut off the water. I'll start seeds shortly to have plants for a Fall crop.
