Silvey Hydraulic Tree Jack repair. I rebuilding / repairing an old Silvey Hydraulic Tree Jack. The series will including the overhaul of the pump and the 25 ton jacks. This set of jacks has the combined lifting power of approx. 50 tons. The entire setup is made from aluminum. This setup is designed to be carried on your back with straps.

The Silvey company is out of business. There are new jacks being produced which are similar to the Silvey but made by other manufacturers. Parts for the Silvey jacks are still available from Madsen's located in Oregon, USA. See Link.
Borntrager from Oregon, USA is also manufacturing a backpack style tree jack designed around the Silvey model. See Link.
