So far, approximately 185 of over 300 beams have been put in place right next to the West Gate Freeway near Williamstown Road in both directions. We’re well over halfway through this part of the work building the core foundations of the ramps.

A fun fact: The road deck span between each column is made up of six beams weighing more than 90 tonnes.
