Our flagship Hybrid Tools series started as the foundation of 8Dio over Eight 10 ago and since its inception has shaped countless blockbuster movies, trailers, and an almost endless list of AAA game titles. With every iteration of the Hybrid Series, we offer not only what is the current trend in music production, but where we feel production could go. With NEO II, we left behind the notion of clinical purity and instead focused on warmth and harmonic character. We degraded pianos through endless analog signal paths and processed hardware synthesizers through a variety of outboard equipment to overdrive them just enough to let their true nature show.
We also included several banks of meticulously arranged rhythmic pulses. These fully tempo synchronized patterns serve as both the perfect way to augment full arrangements, as well as incite and inspire all new ideas.
NEO II also includes our 3D rendered Hybrid User Interface, featuring a variety of indispensable controls, including a fully equipped Arpeggiator, Tempo Synchronized Gate, Playback Direction Control, Speed Control, Pitch Envelope and Sample Offset with Randomization, all accessible from the main interface. You can of course also go deeper into our Effects and control everything from Low to High-Pass Filters, Three Band EQ, Dual Delay, Bit-Crusher, Distortion, Dual-Convolution Reverb and an array of included tempo accurate Textural Convolution pulses. We have also tagged the entire collection with embedded Meta-Data to be fully ready for integration into any sound file management system of your choice.
