Hyatt Select St. Louis Room Tour
Justin Vacula of the Hurdy Gurdy Travel Podcast visits the Hyatt Select St. Louis, a former Best Western property, for a one-night stay after late May 2026 flight delays and cancellations caused by bad weather.
This stay was booked for 8,000 World of Hyatt points using Hyatt Globalist status, making it a useful last-minute airport hotel option near St. Louis. Justin gives a full room tour of a two-queen room, noting that the space is somewhat limited but includes several practical amenities for a short stay.
The room features USB and power outlets, a side chair, laptop desk, coffee maker, TV, microwave, mini fridge, drawers, luggage storage space, and an in-room safe. Justin also shows the bathroom, including the small sink area, toilet, walk-in shower, wall-mounted body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, towels, hairdryer, and plastic bath mat.
