Couldn't resist this Hardware Jams weekend challenge - Stranger Things...
The main "scene" is inspired by some of mysterious/brooding music in the darker/scarier parts of the show (hence the minimal lighting). I took a bit of inspiration from the main theme for the opening/closing. As much as that's been so overdone, I've never really done that vibe, so I thought it would be fun.
The looped supporting parts are Cobalt, SQ8L, and some effects plugins.
The mysterious lead is CRAFTsynth played through my Boss VF-1, and the saw lead at the end is the ASM Diosynth through the Boss VF-1. I was using my Launchpad X to trigger the looped parts.
