I decided to go with a single instrument-single patch. Someone asked me about having a delay line running while playing a second layer over that. Since Diosynth has two parts which you can split using the note range, that's what I'm doing. The delay range I'm playing the "lower" notes (pitch shifted up) and the lead range is the "higher" notes. No additional effects used.
The video of the ASM editor is from the live performance. The video of me playing was from a second take which had no audio (oops). So I cheated. Sue me.
