Harder, better, faster, stronger! This weekend the task is to turn it up. Make your jam louder and bigger. Whatever you’ve got, we want more. We want larger than life kicks, high tempos, soaring leads in intense, energetic jams. We want unbridled hubris, delusions of grandeur, uncontrolled drive and unreasonable energy. We want bangers. We want fire. If you can do this without referencing the Daft Punk song we stole the title from, all the better.

This sounded like the perfect challenge to test out the new Cherry Audio Atomika VST which is an emulation of the Soviet Polivoks synthesizer manufactured at the Formanta Radio Factory between 1982 and 1990. We used three renderings powered by an Arturia Keystep Pro, accompanied by three Moogs and an Arturia Drumbrute.
