UK producer and DJ Huxley returns to Rekids with the ‘Pinball Skizzard’ EP, arriving 10th April 2026. It follows last year’s ‘MIND G%MES’ EP, which marked his debut on Radio Slave’s label and won support from artists including Enzo Siragusa, Jennifer Loveless, Carista, and Laurent Garnier. Active for over two decades, the Dumb Safari label boss has left his mark, founding the online R Trybe community with Ramin Rezaie/BAKKIS, while boasting label credits including Aus, 20/20 Vision, and collaborator Steve Bug’s Poker Flat.
Huxley opens the ‘Pinball Skizzard’ EP with ‘Pinball’, setting the tone with a hefty House groove, anchored by cavernous bass, and brought to life by old-school vocal touches and bright sax motifs that inject warmth and energy into the mix. ‘Heaven’ follows with a buoyant rhythm, pairing glowing chords and twinkling melodic details with deep, dubby low-end pressure designed to keep bodies locked in motion.
‘Deep Down’ shifts into a slinkier back-room groove, rich in atmosphere and soulful vocal fragments that underline its timeless house feel. Closing track ‘Felix’ rounds things out with a percussive roller built around vocal snippets and subtle tribal accents, delivering a stripped-back but effective finale that fits neatly within the Rekids aesthetic.
Founded in 2006, Radio Slave’s Rekids expanded with the techno-focused Rekids Special Projects in 2017 and its latest sublabel, REK’D, in 2024. With Matt Edwards as sole A&R, Rekids continues to champion emerging and established artists alike, remaining a trusted home for house and related sounds, with recent releases from DJ Minx, Echonomist, Tal Fussman, and more.

Japanese Techno pioneer Ken Ishii returns to Radio Slave’s Rekids Special Projects with the ‘Autopilot’ EP, arriving 22nd August 2025. It follows his first appearance on the label in 2023, where he collaborated with Dutch duo Kamara on the ‘Powerplay’ single.
‘Autopilot’ kicks off with an unsuspecting, rolling groove while playful synths sneak up and bounce off its rhythm. The trip continues with ‘Sunset Flight’, lush chords washing over deep, subby low-end, rising high before delving back into the background while delicious percs play between its pounding kick drums. Closer ‘Grid Bounce’ then returns to mischief, machine-like sequences tumbling over an unrelenting beat, excellently building pressure for maximum dancefloor wonk.
“With this EP, I wanted to combine the funky and happy side of my music with driving techno elements. The EP and track titles were inspired when I was on a long-haul flight. So happy to release these three tracks in one EP.”– Ken Ishii
DJ and producer Ken Ishii is one of the founding artists behind the Japanese Techno scene, he debuted on R&S Records in 1993 and quickly rose to global acclaim, releasing on labels like Harthouse, Exceptional, and now Rekids’ RSPX offshoot, while collaborating with artists like Jeff Mills, who remixed Ishii’s 2019 ‘MOBÏUS STRIP’ album on U/M/A/A.
He is also the founder of the 70 Drums label, co-brewer of KIKK IPA, worked on theme songs for the 1998 Winter Olympics and the Japanese government for the 2005 World Expo, and continues to innovate through projects ranging from video game and anime soundtracks to collaborations with Jazz artists. Out now: orcd.co/rspx83
UK-born, Australia-based artist and Bush Records boss Eric Powell joins Rekids’ RSPX sublabel with ‘Bearhugg’, releasing 20th February 2026 alongside a remix from Melbourne’s Rory Marshall.
The track is dancefloor hypnotism at its best, with squelchy square bass underpinning a straight House-like groove and playful bleeps above, all while dubby moments of bliss break things up. Late Night Specialist label head and Bush Records regular Rory Marshall follows with his no-nonsense mix of ‘Bearhugg’, living up to its name with tougher drums and amped-up lasers for a rolling, strobe-lit warehouse feel.
Eric Powell started out in Manchester in the 90s, becoming a highly sought-after DJ who played at key clubs such as The Hacienda, and later held residency at Brighton’s Zap Club while earning a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in its earliest years. Alongside Eric Gooden, he founded Blip Music before the pair launched Bush Records in 1993, a label Powell still runs today. Since relocating to Melbourne, Australia, in 1999, Eric Powell has continued to shape the scene not only through producing and performing but also via event curation, mentorship, and education. ![Oliver Dollar - Downtown feat. Phil WZK [REKIDS276]
Out now: orcd.co/REKIDS276
German House artist Oliver Dollar announces his ‘Contemporary’ LP on Rekids, arriving 21st November 2025. Since 2024, he has released four EPs on Radio Slave’s label, featuring collaborations with over a dozen artists and singer-songwriters, supported by the likes of Dam Swindle, Louie Vega, Honey Dijon, Hunee, Kai Alce, and more.
Contemporary stands for what Im playing right now, from deeper tunes to more jacking and booty bangers. Ive been working on this album for the last four years and want to thank all of the collaborators and remixers (so far) involved in making this album happen. Also, big thanks to the Rekids team who gave me full creative control and the stage to bring my favourite artists and friends along for the ride.”
Oliver Dollar
Since 2011, Industry Standard label boss Oliver Dollar has become a trusted name in House music, he was one of the leading proponents of its Fidget subgenre in Berlin at the height of its popularity, propelling him towards releases on labels such as Snatch!, Classic Music Company, and Defected, alongside a reputation as a formidable collaborator that’s worked with the likes of Crazy P, Mousse T, and Todd Edwards. For the ‘Contemporary’ LP, he doubles down on this spirit of partnership, bringing together a transatlantic cast of friends and peers, linking Berlin and Detroit through a shared House vision.
The album begins with ‘The New Is Here’, where Oliver Dollar teams up with Nils Ohrman for a soulful sermon that sets the tone with warmth and gravity, which was previously reimagined into a club-focused dub for ‘Contemporary Part Four’. From there, the mood shifts into ‘Downtown’ with Phil WZK, a deep, Jazz-inflected groove underpinned by a spoken monologue that feels both intimate and eternal.
Vocalists like APROPOS, Boog Brown, and Billy Love then bring soul and gospel fire, while producers including ADMN, Seven Davis Jr., Harvard Bass, Brillstein, and Austin Ato shape grooves that range from Disco-tinged uplift to deep, dubby hypnotism. Rather than a showcase of features, the album flows as one unified statement, a celebration of community, connection, and the timeless energy of House music.
Founded in 2006, Radio Slave’s Rekids has since launched the Techno-focused Rekids Special Projects in 2017 and its latest sublabel, REK’D, in 2024. With Matt Edwards as the sole A&R, Rekids has been instrumental in developing emerging artists and remains a trusted home for House and adjacent sounds, recently featuring names such as Hilit Kolet, Tal Fussman, Frankey & Sandrino, Mathias Kaden, Huxley, and many more.
Oliver Dollar’s ‘Contemporary’ LP on Rekids is a genuine team effort, bringing together some of the brightest voices and producers for a masterpiece that seamlessly blends modern and classic House, Dub, and Disco. ![Mike Shannon - Only Noodles [REKIDS279]
Out now: orcd.co/REKIDS279
Canadian DJ and producer Mike Shannon kicks off the year on Radio Slave’s Rekids with the ‘Off World Synthetics’ EP, landing 16th January 2026 and marking his first appearance on the label since 2023’s ‘Shadow Moves’ for sub-label RSPX. A long-standing force in Minimal and House with a discography stretching two decades, collaborations on Richie Hawtin’s Plus 8, and his own Cynosure and Haunt Recordings labels, Shannon has carved out a reputation as a respected staple in the booth and the studio.
Inspired by Alejandro Jodorowsky and Möbius’ INCAL graphic novels, Mike Shannon’s ‘Off World Synthetics’ EP opens with ‘Synthetic Salsateca’, where a static groove drives a playful, squelching synthline. ‘Back To The Hood’ follows with rattling, mechanical energy, before the flip reveals ‘Off World Sparkle’, with its wonky sequences bending around a rubbery low-end. Closing cut ‘Only Noodles’ pushes deeper into warped clicks, scratches, and subtly shifting textures, rounding off an EP that’s raw, restrained, and devastating in the right hands and on the right system.
Off World Synthetics was greatly inspired by reading the Jarodofsky and Möbius’s graphic novel INCAL. Plus the films Blade Runner and The Lost Boys. The Track Only Noodles has a little sample of Kiefer Sutherland in it. “Theyre only Noodles Michael” Blade Runner and the INCAL both mention the concept of OFF world experiences that inspired me. The New York-born, New Jersey-based Avision lands on Radio Slave’s Rekids sublabel REK’D for the first time with the ‘Get Down’ EP, arriving 14th November 2025. The title track emanates pure NYC soul, pairing uplifting vocals with euphoric energy, while ‘Papi’ moves into deeper territory, its stripped-back groove and shadowy stabs giving way to flickers of funky, jazz-tinged warmth.
“‘Get Down EP is simply down to the bones. I think it combines my New York flavor along with a nostalgic but also fresh feel. I am super excited to have this come out on REKD as the brand overall is nothing but timeless, and A class music. Ive been getting amazing reactions across the board on this ep while playing it out, so I amped for everyone to hear it.”
– Avision
Emerging from New York’s club culture, Avision broke through with his ‘Excess’ EP on Beardman Records in 2018 and has since released on Ellum Audio, Crosstown Rebels, Cocoon, and Black Book Records, alongside his own MATTER+ label, which he runs with his cousin Victor Calderone.
Matt Edwards launched REK’D in October 2024 to release no-nonsense house music without the limitations of parent label Rekids. It has since become a home for dancefloor-focused EPs from artists including St. David, Uncertain, James Juke, James Curd, Ketiov, and more. ![Butch - Official Bump Call (Riva Starr Warehouse Remix) [REKIDS289]
Out now: https://orcd.co/rekids289s
German DJ/producer Butch returns to Rekids with the ‘Official Bump Call’ EP 22nd May 2026. It marks his first release on the label since 2011’s ‘Raw Beats’ two-tracker, followed by a 2018 appearance remixing Basement Jaxx’s ‘Good Luck’. This time, Snatch! Records boss Riva Starr joins for a remix fresh off the back of his ‘Shine A Light’ EP on Radio Slave’s main imprint.
“‘Bump Call’ and Foxtrot Uniform are messages from old-school players to new-school fools. At a time, when everything revolves around health, discipline, and maximising output – more shows, more structure, more money – this EP is a reminder of where it all came from. From a scene that wasn’t optimised, but lived. From DJs who didn’t just perform – they partied. Yes, times have changed. Even I’m on that fitness wave now, living cleaner and more focused. But this record isn’t about that. It’s a nod to the chaos, the excess, and the raw energy that defined an era. A reminder that it wasn’t always about performance – sometimes it was just about crossing lines” - Butch
Butch’s Official Bump Call plays with live, loose, and funky drum breaks that ride a swollen bassline. Toms and congas pepper the groove as steamy vocals inject the soul. Its a dusty, heartfelt House sound that balances vintage samples with his signature production prowess, making for a sure-fire summer heater.
Riva Starr is an equally influential producer who heads up the Snatch! label and has been turning out essential House sounds for many years. His remix beefs up the drums while keeping the slow-burning vocal heat front and center, creating a devastatingly deep yet driving sound.
Foxtrot Uniform is another tasteful jumble of soul, funk, and gospel motifs with a lived-in house groove thats instinctive and real. Emotions bubble up but never boil over as the tension builds, culminating in an utter dance-floor release when the divas vocal erupts. Its a masterclass in control and release.
Butch has a vast discography spanning labels such as Life And Death, Running Back, Defected, Innervisions, Diynamic, Starr’s Snatch!, and many more, while traversing myriad subgenres. He does it all, from intricate minimal with Ricardo Villalobos to Eastern-inspired psychedelia and pounding, prime-time Techno.

Out now: orcd.co/REKIDS280
Greece’s Echonomist, aka Petros Manganaris, returns to Rekids with the ‘My Religion’ EP, arriving 30th January 2026 and featuring collaborations with OVEOUS and Ede. It follows his 2025 remix for Frankey & Sandrino, which won plays from HAAi, John Digweed, Auntie Flo, and more, alongside recent music on labels like Habitat, Innervisions, and its sublabel, Exit Strategy.
Echonomist’s ‘My Religion’ EP opens with the title track, where he teams up with Hyper Soul founder OVEOUS for a loopy, hypnotic cut driven by an alarm-like sequence and tripped-out spoken word vocal. OVEOUS returns on ‘We Surrender’, adding psychedelic, warped phrases over deep bass and an infectious clap-led groove. On the flip, Echonomist joins fellow Innervisions artist Ede for ‘The Heat’, a heavy-hitting, party-starter packed with larger-than-life sirens, big snare rolls, and funky sample work. Petros closes the EP solo with ‘Master Groove’, pairing the drums back while echoing spoken lines ride above an irresistible bassline, rounding off a versatile release built to land with adventurous listeners and on peak-time floors alike.
Greek DJ, producer, and live performer Petros Manganaris became Echonomist in 2008 and has since become known for his prolific output on labels Innervisions, Afterlife, Kompakt, TAU, and more, alongside collaborations with the likes of WhoMadeWho and numerous top-tier remix projects for Âme, Ry X, and Stephan Bodzin.
