About us:
Ricky and I met way back in 2009 and were friends for the better part of 8 years before we figured out we had crushes on the other. It's funny how that works. We are grateful that we knew each other for a number of years before we began dating, it made the love part that much sweeter. We both literally married our best friend, which is exciting and at times challenging. No matter what I can't imagine being on life's journey with anyone else.
We were engaged in early 2019 in Palm Springs, CA, and married in early December of 2019. The craziness of 2020 changed our plans for a wedding reception in May, our honeymoon over the summer, and a trip for our anniversary, but what we've come to realize is that none of those things matter nearly as much as our health and happiness together. Mushy as it sounds a year filled with incredible challenges only brought us closer and solidified that we are one another's match. And how lucky we are to have each other.
