WARNING - Removing a tree is very dangerous. Do not try this unless you are an, experienced, professional, tree removal person.
We had a tall pine tree fall halfway over during Hurricane Irma. It was being held up by a couple tiny branches in an adjacent tree. Mike Collins and his assistants took the tree down safely, using what they call, the "Walking the Dog" method. They secured the top of the tree to a strong tree and cut from the bottom about 2 feet at a time so that the tree didn't fall and hit our house....it just moved across the yard, while still standing. Needless to say....we were impressed!
