In Aug of 2023 I was on an African Safari when I came upon a wildebeest trapped in a water retention tank. It had no escape and without any help, it would have eventually drowned. But not if we could help it. My professional hunting guide Berand and I knew we had to do whatever it took to save this trapped animal. So we scrapped our hunt and became rescuers. It was the highlight of my entire trip. Lots of hunters take animal's lives...how many can say they've actually saved one?
