Hunter Biden has returned to the public eye with a string of high-profile and viral interviews, fueling renewed speculation about whether the controversial figure could have a political future.
In recent weeks, Biden has appeared in long-form conversations with prominent voices, including some who have criticized him in the past. He has been a frequent target of conservative media and political figures over his laptop, his business dealings and his struggles with addiction, but he has now been sitting down with some of those same people and, at times, finding common ground.
On “The Tucker Carlson Show” on Monday, host Tucker Carlson said, “I advocated for all kinds of things that I now regret advocating for.”
“Particularly the things that you said about me,” Biden replied as the two laughed.
Carlson added he should have been more understanding about Biden's battles with addiction.
