Breakfast is served!
As a newly hatched little stork, it is important to eat properly so you grow up so you are big and strong for when it is time to fly south.
After extensive drainage of our wetlands, the white stork disappeared in Sweden in the mid-1950s. Thanks to intensive work by the Stork Project in Skåne, it is now breeding here again. Just like every year, our babies will be sent to Skåne to be released into the wild. This year the stork release takes place on July 29 - don't miss it!
