Catastrophic floods in Nepal has killed at 270 people, with the death toll still rising. Nearly 1,500 people are confirmed missing from more than 30 countries, but officials warn the real number could be much higher. Relief efforts are underway, with search teams, medical personnel, rescue dogs and drones deployed across the affected areas. The threat is not over yet, with authorities warning of additional flash floods, mudslides and landslides.

Meta has reached a proposed settlement worth up to $17 billion. This comes from a closely watched case involving allegations that Facebook and Instagram harmed young users. The agreement would bring new restrictions and safety measures for teenagers using the platforms in the coming months. The proposed settlement still requires court approval.

President Trump is taking temporary action to increase beef imports, as U.S. supplies remain tight and ground beef prices stay high. The move will allow more lean beef trimmings into the country at lower tariff rates for the next 90 days. The White House says the additional imports could increase the overall beef supply by roughly 10% above current projections.
