Kendrick is by and far my favorite rap artist and one of my favorite musicians ever. His art truly inspires me, personally and musically, from expanding my view of the world and the people in it, to motivating me to become a genuinely better, stronger, tougher person. His music reaches an understanding of humanity that I can't even begin to fathom, and I wanted to pay homage to the man who spotlighted the Latino hip-hop community and called Drake a predator on live national television... So I might make a neat little lightshow out of one of his songs.
This video has been a year in the making. Storyboarding, making the lightshow, recording, and editing. It's my most ambitious video to date, taking three weeks to film and edit. I filled it with lots of little nods and references to the original video.
After thirteen months of planning, work, and execution, I present: HUMBLE. A Launchpad Video by Dovitate.
