"Running out of Time" by Humble Gods, featuring Insane Clown Posse, from the album No Heroes. 1996.
Behind the Paint: The band Humble Gods was touring with ICP just before this album was released. They approached ICP with the idea of doing a track together on their upcoming album, which ICP quickly agreed to. This solidified a long-term friendship between the bands. Most of the members of Humble Gods would later go on to form Kottonmouth Kings.
Violent J: It was a great song. We did a remix; we put the fresh-ass Above the Law murder siren.
Shaggy: [Humble Gods] were our homies, so we were like, “Fuck yeah, we’ll hook them up.”
Violent J: When we did that remix for them, of “Running Out Of Time”… that very three-day period, we did it at The Disc in Roseville Michigan, we also did the remix to “Chicken Huntin',” which ended up on Riddle Box, same three day session. We did “Chicken Huntin'” in the same three days at The Disc that we did the “Running Out Of Time.”
