We live in an era of almost unfathomable technological revelations, with there seeming to be no limit to how far we can go, however, I would argue that humanity's greatest invention, our greatest technological success is a very, very old technology: the book.

In this video I make a case for books and reading compared to some other inventions that people often discuss as world changing, and I explain why reading books is probably more important than it has ever been.
