Today Jim Garrison will comment on the foundations of Tibetan mysticism as refracted through the great mantra of Tibet: OM MANI PADME HUM. This is the mantra of Avalokitishvara, the god of compassion, Kuan Yin, the goddess of compassion, and the Dalai Lama. Through an examination of this mantra, the essence of Tibetan Buddhism is revealed.
