Join Peter Merry, Kirsty Allan, and Jessica Bockler for a live dialogue exploring the theme of “wyrd people”—those at the threshold of a new story for humanity. Drawing on their work with the Science and Consciousness community at Broughton Sanctuary, the conversation will weave together cutting-edge research, embodied practice, and mythic imagination. Together, they’ll reflect on how scientists, artists, therapists, and seekers are being called into deeper alignment with the emergent, interconnected reality that consciousness science is revealing. What does it mean to live as a “wyrd” person in these times? And how might this growing community shape the future?
Jessica Bockler
Jessica Bockler is performance artist, transpersonal psychologist and co-founding director of the Alef Trust, a global leader in transformative education.
Jessica has spent the past two decades exploring how embodied play, holistic wellbeing practices, and creative ritual can nurture individual and collective flourishing. Jessica trained in acting and community arts at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts – the “Paul McCartney University”, before completing her Master’s in Transpersonal Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. Her PhD was a wild and life-changing expedition into theatre as a vehicle for inner transformation. She has worked with many spiritual and esoteric performance ensembles in Poland, Italy, Denmark, the UK and the USA.
Kirsty Allan
Kirsty is a psychologist and consciousness researcher focussed on the innate natural ‘magic’ of highly sensitive people; blending cutting-edge science with esoteric wisdom.
She is a certified coach to highly sensitive people and has published a self-help book (IF) on transforming anxiety into creative will. Kirsty is the founding member of The IF Crowd - a group for aspirational people wishing to leverage their intuitive, psychic and creative talents.
Kirsty actively researches psi phenomena and has presented at various academic conferences. She is a PhD candidate and a graduate of five UK universities. She teaches psychology to undergraduate and postgraduate students and researches with both children and adults exploring their psychic experiences. Her research projects also explore altered states of consciousness and restricted environmental sensory techniques (R.E.S.T), creativity and wellbeing.
