The truth about the changes comming to YouTube On April 16, 2009 the home page is going to be redesigned. The Videos, Channels, and Community Tabs are being done away with to make more room for Network and Studio content. The new tabs will be Movies, you can watch full lengh movies with in video advertizing. Shows, you will be able to watch full length network programing of our favorite shows. Music, companies such as Universal shall have their own section as music videos have always been the most popular thing here.

User Gengerate Content like mine from what I have heard shall have a quick 15 second commercial that plays before my video plays. This is similar to what BlogTV and other sites have done for months and others for Years.
Now is this a good thing. Well this will no doubt bring more traffic here to YouTube and that will mean more views for us. Whether or not there will be the most viewed list or most discussed list we will have to wait and see. However we will still have our subscriptions and the community will still be here, it is just that some very large neighbors are moving in.
