While shotguns definitely are under performing compared to automatic weapons due to range limitations and spread (and all the new bosses being far away from the player); they can still perform very well, or at least well enough to be enjoyable. I'm always a fan of shotgun swapper, and doing a unique spin on it that doesn't rely on provisioner ring was fun to put together.
