I somehow managed to get entangled in a viral spat between Hugh Laurie and a woman that ended up with me mocking her on live TV.

We need to stop putting so much weight on victimhood. Like Vorderman with the Makerfield Reform candidate, this woman knew her position was weak, so wielded her tears as a weapon.

And she used the technique used by trans activists of reducing a complex issue to a simplistic aphorism - in this case "do you think women should be exposed to abuse online?"

Obviously, in an ideal world, no woman would be exposed to abuse online. But in an ideal world, this woman would have a sense of personal accountability.
