There are some huge red flags in the real estate market which have me concerned. Home prices are going up to quickly and by to much. We are starting to see a "k shaped" housing market just like we are in the economy except this k shape is going to be between homeowners and those who wish to buy a home but can't. As a real estate agent, I'm seeing homes selling within only being on the market a few days and getting multiple offers sometimes as high as $50,000 above list price.
The problem this is going to cause is homeownership is going to become more and more unaffordable for fist time home buyers.
