We are actually getting a remake of Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee. Atari and Pipeworks just announced it, and they are completely rebuilding the original 2002 game in Unreal Engine 5. It features twelve playable kaiju, all the classic city maps, and the original arena-brawler gameplay, but with fully modernized graphics. They are also adding a proper online multiplayer mode, giving every monster its own single-player campaign, and fixing the progression loop so you can unlock characters in whatever order you want. The game launches on November 3rd for thirty bucks. It is coming to PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and the Switch 2.
