@hubrechtinstitute1313 has developed an automated, modular, COVID-19 testing pipeline. The robot isolates the viral RNA, after which all kinds of tests are possible.

This results in the system not being dependable on one specific test, meaning that if there is a shortage of testing fluids for one test, another test can be used. Thanks to its modularity, the testing pipeline is very scalable.
