Their next-gen Kirin architecture splits logic across multiple layers and reconnects them using microscopic copper bonds, dramatically shortening interconnect distances — one of the biggest bottlenecks in modern chip performance.

The result:
• 53% more transistors
• 41% better energy efficiency
• 13% higher performance
without moving to a smaller process node.

Instead of geometric scaling, Huawei is betting on “time scaling.”
