Huge thanks to MoYu for sending me the YS3M to try out! I got all three currently available versions, but I immediately was drawn to the Ball Core version because of how well it fit my personal turning style. While I did notice some similarities to other MoYu 3x3s, which others have pointed out, this cube was undoubtedly very distinct, with notably light slice turns. I'd almost compare the handling of the slices to the original Valk3, and because of this, I instantly started considering making this my OH main. However, after some setup, I noticed that the turning started to strongly resemble what I'd want in my ideal 3BLD cube, finding a balance between speed, control, and flexibility that is currently unmatched for my turning style. While the GTS3M is a great cube, I've recently found that it has just a bit too much flexibility for me to be able to use it to its full potential, and the HuaMeng solves that problem for me. The only negative aspect of the cube I've really been able to note is that it seems to eat lube, which could be a consequence of the dragon scale pattern on the pieces. While initially extremely responsive to the lubes that I used (Traxxas 50K and Lubest XMT-10), the cube does seem to slow down every couple of days, although adding a bit more XMT-10 has solved this issue temporarily each time. Overall, I think I can consider this cube to be my 3BLD main at this point, and I'm also strongly considering using it for 3x3 and OH. I'd highly recommend picking this cube up if you generally like what MoYu has to offer in their 3x3s, but haven't found a perfect match in the previously available selection.
