This one has a pretty alright piano melody section after the bass starts walking. As you’ve perhaps noticed in the music of this chapter I love the pizzicato on the double bass and making it walk.
The first moment of the music tries to convey the immediate chock, stress and panic when they see Occam in the floor, but not in an overstated way. After finding out that Occam’s still alive though it calms down and they begin speculating, so the music changes.
Now though, it made me think that perhaps I should’ve created a longer stress moment. But ahhh, it’s done!
