It looks like the race to be the spiritual successor of Descent is over, and Overload has just won it by obliterating its competitor Descent: Underground and releasing out of Early Access with a completed product! With more polish, a fully completed single player campaign and a multitude of multiplayer features, the developer team who created the original 1994 Descent give us pure gold for virtual reality! Let's grab the HTC VIVE, fire up SteamVR and see how this finalized version of Overload plays, and how many automated operators we'll have to shoot down to determine if we like this game or not!
