After a life-threatening sledding accident at age 6 that left him with a traumatic brain injury, Bensten Schone faced a long and grueling road to recovery. But he refused to let it define his life, learning to breathe, walk and talk again. The now-high school senior is defying the odds by running track. “I love a comeback story, and when they said they didn’t think I could walk again, I was determined to walk and maybe run,” Bensten said.
