It's easy to sit in the present and criticize ourselves. To ask ourselves: "what have you done?" "what have you accomplished?" "why aren't you where you should be?" ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I think what our current selves need to see is the spot at which we started, and how far we have come. I took a month long Time-Lapse of my Hoya (the slow growing plant) because I wanted to illustrate that growth happens even if we don't see it daily. Once you zoom out and play through that timeline, you see it so much more clearly. Be kind to yourself. Grow at your own pace. Be happy about how far you've come.
