My stiletto hammer handle (rubber) has started to fall apart after years of use in harsh conditions. It was out of warranty and couldn't find a way to replace the grip, so here is how I regripped it, just using tennis grip tape for $8.
As mentioned, the handle of the hammer is thinner than the traditional grip, so you may want to use two packs of tennis grip tape when re gripping your hammer
