In the "Preferences" menu check mark every option EXCEPT the following 3:
1.) ##DIV.homepage-side-block
2.) www.youtube.com##DIV.homepage-side-block
3.) youtube.com##DIV.homepage-side-block
This will remove all features on the right side of the YouTube homepage, except the inbox. HOWEVER, you will experience a loss of some functions on other youtube pages, such as:
1. While watching a video, you will lose the "Suggested" videos column to the right of the video.
2. In your inbox, you will lose the ability to click on title links of messages and comments.
To correct these two losses of function, navigate to those respective pages (click on a video or your inbox) and then open the ABP menu at the top right of the browser (like you do for the Preferences). Now select the option: "Disable on this page only". The icon will change colors, from red to green.
Selecting this option while on the "inbox" and "video pages" disables the previous blocks you created for the SPECIFIC page you are currently on. However, you will continue to block all features on your YT homepage. Notice how the icon is still red on the YT homepage, which means you are still blocking information.
Hopefully this makes sense! =)
If you are experiencing any problems with the changes you've made, return to the "Preferences" menu and un-check the boxes until you find which one is causing your problem.
Alternatively, you can directly click the red "ABP icon" at the top right of the screen. A list of addresses will be displayed. Those addresses that are currently blocked will appear in red at the top of the list. Click the red "X" on the right side of the list and it will unblock whatever addresses you want to see again.
If you no longer want this add-on, you can uninstall by going to the Firefox menu bar and navigating to the following menus: "Tools", "Add-ons", select the add-on you want to remove, and then click "Uninstall".
