HOW TO: Right Click the Desktop Icon and Press "Rename"

Hold down "ALT" and enter only on your Num Keypad "255. Let go of ALT, then press "Enter". See if you get the same effect.

For the next icon, Press down "ALT" enter "255". Let go of "ALT" then enter "255" again....then press "Enter".

Same thing goes with the 3rd icon of your choice, but you have to press "ALT" and "255" over and over again for that number of times you've already down it and so on.
