In this video you will learn about centralized controls that have been introduced across several releases. Centralized controls have been introduced for Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE) and Planning Analytics Spreadsheet Services (PASS). Parameters in the TM1 Web config file can now be configured in 1 place. Custom parameters can also be configured. The Cognos Office file can now be managed centrally, previously it was managed on each user's computer. Administrators can use parameters to control the types of reports PAfE users can create such as custom and quick reports. Administrators can define a global locale setting to ensure all users are operating in the name language. These releases make it easier for Administrators to control PAfE and PASS behavior resulting in time savings.
