Written June 7, 2025, this is an original piano arrangement of the main theme from the movie, “Howl’s Moving Castle.” The music was written by Joe Hisaishi and is from the 2004 animated fantasy film directed by Hayao Miyazaki. This has always been one of my favorite movies of all time, filled with imagination, creativity, emotion, and wonder. While some may be disappointed that I didn’t include all the beautiful transitional sections of the music, I focused on the main melody which I absolutely love. I’ve done the arrangement with permission of the publisher under Hal Leonard’s ArrangeMe program and it will be available as sheet music exactly as played and hopefully streaming soon as well.
