Continuing the Howdens paint-to-order kitchen installation, this video covers several finishing steps including oiling the wooden worktops, fitting the cornice, preparing the extractor trim, and installing drawers and door fronts.

I start by applying oil to the worktops, explaining how I apply it and why proper preparation is important before installation. Later in the video I move on to fitting the cornice and discussing how the kitchen extractor will be concealed using trim pieces.

Towards the end of the installation process, I continue with final worktop preparation, installing the last end panel, fitting drawers and door fronts, and finish with an important tip about what to pay attention to when drilling holes for cabinet handles.
