Are you afraid of anything? It could be a phobia, but how do you develop a phobia?
In psychology, a phobia is a persistent and irrational fear of a specific situation, object, or activity, and it is generally considered the fear of loss and being out of control. Phobias may develop through classical or associative conditioning caused by a negative or traumatic experience, such as getting thrown off a horse and then becoming afraid of horses. Observed learning, and I am not going to show any photos here, for example if you observed a parent with arachnophobia, chances are you will also be afraid of spiders; that’s not a coincidence. Informational learning, such as what you hear on the news could build into a phobia, and remember it sadly makes business sense for them to possibly do this to you so you become fixated on watching their channel. Biological, where some people are actually more prone to having phobias, due to an overactive amygdala in the limbic system of your brain, just anterior of each hippocampus.
