This video discusses the chemical process of electrolysis. The video includes a sample experiment showing the electrolysis of water. This process is used on the ISS to generate oxygen for the crew. The video also discusses the upcoming Mars 2020 mission and the MOXIE experiment which will attempt to generate oxygen on Mars using electrolysis of carbon dioxide present in the Mars atmosphere.
