Ryley provides an overview of how we setup the negative g proof load test for the DarkAero 1 wing. This involved modified the test stand from the positive g proof load test. Ryley cut out additional structure that was then screwed into the existing frame. Once that was completed we could flip the whole structure over to invert the wing. We machined out new foam padding for the top of the wing and new foam padding for the jack stands. Additionally, the rulers were set back up so that we could measure possible twist and deflection of the wing.
