We all have things that irrationally annoy us, and spending so much time talking about narrative it should come as no surprise that I have a few pet peeves about how people talk about my precious narrative... my precious... (ahem) but I do think that there is a conversation to be had about how we discuss negative reactions to books, films, and shows.

Admittedly there are as many ways to discuss narrative as there are types of conversation about narrative, so these are just some thoughts on the matter and reflect where I am currently.
